Activating Dewdney Peak

Activating Dewdney Peak

It was a lovely day for a hike and so I had to get out and climb a summit. Being on my own it needed to be a fairly simple adventure and Dewdney Peak fit the bill. I got the gear and truck ready and set off for the summit. The drive went smoothly and the hike to the summit quite quickly. At the summit there is no view, only lots of trees. I got my Arrow Yagi set up and soon had a number of contacts in the log. Once I had enough contacts I stopped to eat a few bites before setting off for the truck. By now the flies had located me and it was getting dangerous to remain! The return hike went quickly and this time I followed it to where it crossed the road - only a short ways down from where I was parked.
