Mt. Mercer Activated

Mt. Mercer Activated

Eric and his son Geoff hiked Mt. Mercer on Saturday and completed a first activation of the summit. Eric used only his 2m hand-held with his arrow 2m yagi. His first call was with a station in Port Angeles Washington followed by a chap near the Victoria airport and then another station in Nanaimo 170km distant. So it was a successful adventure and the lovely fall colours added to the enjoyment
