SOTA from Crown Mountain

John Bell and I hiked to Crown Mountain from Grouse and activated the summit for SOTA. It was a long challenging hike for me but I managed to get there and make a number of 2m contacts. John tried out his new end-fed 20m antenna with my KX2 but was only able to get a single contact with it. He made a few more on 2m so we both got the summit points in our logs. The views from the summit of Vancouver are truly amazing.

Coffee Meetings
