Stuart in Qualicum Beach for Emergency Prep Display

I'm in Qualicum-Parksville today, so won't be at coffee tomorrow.  I managed to drop by the Emergency Preparedness display at the Qualicum Beach Rec Centre today (Apr 28).  Pictures are for the WRARC webpage if appropriate.

Pictured is Len Hooper (VE7XLH) who is also the BCEN Net Manager.  They had their Mobile Ops truck out for the Emergency Preparedness display, and were working 20 Mteres HF, as well as monitoring local repeaters.  They were also engaging the public.

Also pictured is my brother Terry (VA7EDX) who is also the MIRA secretary, and as such is holding up the policy booklet for MIRA.  It is slightly larger than ours.  Terry is also holding up the dongle for his software defined radio.
