Activating Old Baldy

The toughest part of this activation was the drive to the trail head. The road was very washed out and challenging. The trail was easy to follow and we made decent time to the summit. Once on the summit I was able to make a number of 2m contacts including with fellow club member Ken (VE7HI) who was activating Burnaby Mountain. I then set up my HF antenna and worked a few east coast stations on 20m phone.

Coffee Meetings

We meet every Sunday at 3pm for coffee and a chance to share our recent adventures with radio technology. We really enjoy meeting new people who are interested in learning about Amateur Radio or even other Hams! Join us this Sunday. We currently meet at the food court in Semiahmoo Mall.
