BC QSO Party

BC QSO Party

Club members participated in the annual BC QSO Party again this year. For the event we operated with Konstantin's K3s and 500 watt amplifier through the Windom installed at the arena. We used Ralph's notebook computer for logging. In the end we made around 35 SSB contacts, not a high number but then we were on the air for only a few hours. We also tested out Jay's magnetic coil antenna with SDR radio and then with Eric's KX2.

It was an enjoyable time operating, this time we stayed on SSB so we had no CW contacts in the log.

Coffee Meetings

We meet every Sunday at 3pm for coffee and a chance to share our recent adventures with radio technology. We really enjoy meeting new people who are interested in learning about Amateur Radio or even other Hams! Join us this Sunday. We currently meet at the food court in Semiahmoo Mall.

Please join us on our weekly net - every Thursday 7:30pm on the White Rock Repeater
