Members of the club gathered Saturday morning to try their hand at the annual BC contest. We operated out of the Lounge in Centennial Arena and used Konsta's K3s with 500W amp. It was working well except for the poor band conditions and low activity. We all had a hand at the radio and tried to bring in a few contacts. Though our numbers were down we all had a fun time and enjoyed the event.
We meet every Sunday at 3pm for coffee and a chance to share our recent adventures with radio technology. We really enjoy meeting new people who are interested in learning about Amateur Radio or even other Hams! Join us this Sunday. We currently meet at the food court in Semiahmoo Mall.
