BC QSO Party 2024

Members gathered at the Lounge facility in the Centennial Arena for this years BC QSO Party event. For today's activity we used Bill's Go Kit which comprises of an Icom-7000 radio with a matching LDG tuner. Members took turns making contacts across the 20, 15 and 10 meter bands. Jim even managed a contact with one Northern England station. Having taken turns at the con and after eating too many Timbits, members packed up and made their way for lunch. Jim and Eric continued the day's discussion at the local White Spot over burgers. As usual, it was a pleasant time out for those that made it and well worth supporting the local BC clubs.
