California Qso Party 2017

California Qso Party 2017

Club members gathered at the lounge to work the California contest this year. We met at 9am and got Konstatin's portable high-power radio setup and running. Eric brought a notebook for logging and soon we were ready to make some contacts. The 500 watts and the Windom antenna pointed at California gave a good strong signal into the area as reported by our contacts. We operated for a bit over 4 hours and logged 88 contacts. It was a fun event and by rotating operators and loggers everyone stayed fresh and in good form.
