Eric on Wells Peak

Eric on Wells Peak

In an effort to get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors and activate a new mountain for SOTA, Eric and his son Geoff hiked Wells Peak and successfully activated the summit. This is a first activation for the summit and was done on 2m with Eric's hand-held and portable beam. It was a challenge getting to the White Rock area from the summit but after making 4 contacts in Chilliwack, and the Fraser Canyon, Eric was able to work Ralph who was lounging around at home.
