Ken Norman (VE7HI) SK

It is hard to imagine that we suddenly lost Ken on Dec 23rd. He was a long time member of the club and a very active amateur. He was the top chaser in western Canada in the summits-on-the-air program and more recently a busy hunter in the Parks-on-the-air program. He would often be checking to see when the next club member was activating a summit/park to make sure he made a contact. He was also the clubs most proficient CW operator having learned the skills in his work in Marine Navigation. He would always come by a club event to offer his support and encourage his friends. His departure will be greatly missed.
