RAC Winter Contest 2007

Stuart (VA7CRH) joined Eric (VE7EGK) at 10:30 Saturday morning on December 29th, 2007 to activate the club call sign in the RAC Winter Contest. We operated as the club for around 2 hours and had a fun leisurely time making 28 contacts across the country. We were able to work a station in the Yukon, PEI and Nova Scotia, so we felt we had achieved something during our brief activation.

Once we had stopped working the contest Eric showed the radio automation software he was using to Stuart - Ham Radio Deluxe. Stuart had not seen this program yet and as he was interested in an integrated solution for his own station he was keen on getting a look at its digital modes component.

Coffee Meetings

We meet every Sunday at 3pm for coffee and a chance to share our recent adventures with radio technology. We really enjoy meeting new people who are interested in learning about Amateur Radio or even other Hams! Join us this Sunday. We currently meet at the food court in Semiahmoo Mall.

Please join us on our weekly net - every Thursday 7:30pm on the White Rock Repeater
