SOTA on Sumas Mountain

SOTA on Sumas Mountain

Ralph and Eric hiked to the summit of Sumas Mountain to activate the peak for the Summits-on-the-air program. It was a lovely day for the hike but the wind on the summit was quite strong and added a new challenge to the event. Ralph was able to make 15 contacts on 20m CW. Eric pulled out 6 on 2m. So it was a successful activation and we both enjoyed the time on the trail and at the view point. We will return for another visit next year.
