2m Remedial Class- August 27, 2006

A few of the members gathered for an informal session about 2m and up at Eric's home on Sunday August 27th. It was a fun time where those who had not been active in the VHF/UHF bands could ask their questions and share experiences and answers. Topics covered included repeater use and an overview of how they function, Irlp what it is and how to use it. We also touched upon highlights of the various local repeaters available in the area. The neglected 220 band was also reviewed along with its unique advantages.
